When Columbus Kids kicked off less than a year ago, we were ready to roll up our sleeves to tackle what some called a monumental challenge. Fast forward and it’s not the challenge that’s monumental but the progress. In a short amount of time, Columbus Kids is seeing tangible results from our grassroots efforts.

Thanks to our partners, more than 1,035 children in Weinland Park and Central City have received Learning Checkups. In fact, we exceeded the ambitious 80% goal we set. Of those checked, 31% have been referred for additional services to get the extra support they need to succeed in kindergarten.

If you would like to participate, call 614-241-3089 to sign up the children in your care. Or visit www.columbuskids.org for more information.
